In the summer of 2015, the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite helped open a new home at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. The 185,000-square foot facility features two NHL-size ice sheets, and is the premier site for amateur and high school hockey in the region. The UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex also serves as the official training facility for the NHL Penguins.
Beyond hockey, UPMC Sports Medicine offers world-class medical, training and rehab services, including orthopedic physicians, radiologists, imaging, physical therapists and athletic trainers.
