Katherine Khramtsov, a forward for the 14U Pittsburgh Penguins Elite team, has committed to Princeton University to continue her hockey career at the NCAA Division I level. Katherine, who is a native of Maryland, is a member of Team Maryland’s Bantam Minor team in addition to playing for the Pens Elite organization.
As an Ivy League university, the Princeton Tigers compete in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and last made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2016. Off the ice, Katherine will be attending one of the finest universities in the country as Princeton is the fourth-oldest institution of higher learning in the United States and one of nine colonial colleges that was chartered before the American Revolution.
Good luck to Katherine as she continues her hockey career in the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite organization and congratulations on committing to Princeton!
