Eric Cooley Invited to Toronto Maple Leafs Development Camp

Former Pittsburgh Penguins Elite forward Eric Cooley has been invited to attend the Toronto Maple Leafs’ 2018 Development Camp. Cooley, a member of the 2016 National Champion 18U Penguins Elite team, played the 2017-18 season at Niagara University where he recorded 20 points on 6 goals and 14 assists. After his time in the Pens Elite organization, Cooley spent a season with the Amarillo Bulls of the North American Hockey League. In Amarillo, Cooley was third in team points with 34 points in 51 games.

Cooley, a native of West Mifflin, PA, recorded 23 points in 18 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite 16U team. The next season, Cooley notched 19 points with the U18 Pens Elite team.   

A total of 46 players will attend Toronto’s Development Camp which gets begins on Monday, June 25 at the MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence. Congratulations to Eric and good luck in Toronto!
