The Girls 10u Black team volunteered their time Saturday morning to assist in the March 3 national "Try Hockey for Free" at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.   The girls assisted with greeting boys and girls age 4-9 who elected to try hockey for the first time.   The girls helped collect and distribute head to toe hockey equipment.   Each volunteer then led their partners to the locker room to assist with showing them how to dress and lace up skates.  They then took to the ice and assisted the Penguins rink coaching and volunteer staff in on ice hockey activities.
