The BRICK Invitational Hockey Tournament is a summer tradition for players aged 10 and under from across North America. Teams representing regions across the United States and Canada will descend on Edmonton to put their skills to the test and Team Pennsylvania will have quite a few Pittsburgh Penguins Elite players on their roster. Due to the coronavirus, the tournament was not played last year in Edmonton so there will be two age groups competing this year. The 2011 and 2012 birth years.

The Pens Elite players on the 2012 Team Pennsylvania roster include Gunner Morgan, Kelly Sullivan, Reid Loya, Tanner Julius, James Caton, and Ryan Burkhiser. Representing Team PA on the 2011 squad are Rowan Broze, Brayden Pearsall, Zachary Breneman, Alexander Levin, Gunner Reiling, Jimmy Halliday, Cameron Pelle, Owen Gulnac, David Chappell, Jack Carlson and Dangelo Fluhme.

The 2012s will open the tournament on July 29th against the Montreal Canadiens followed by matchups with the Connecticut Jr. Rangers on July 30th and a double header against the Western Selects and Toronto Pro Hockey on July 1st.

The 2011s, meanwhile, will open on July 4th against the Montreal Canadiens and face the BC Junior Canucks and Team Brick Alberta in a doubleheader on July 5th. Then, they will play the Connecticut Jr. Rangers on July 6th, the Boston Junior Bruins on July 7th and Saskatchewan Jr. Pats on July 8th.

Congrats to all Pens Elite members who will be representing Pennsylvania this summer in Edmonton!
