The DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Penguins Elite program will be well represented at the 2021 Chipotle - USA Hockey National Championships with six total teams competing. The following six teams have earned their spot at Nationals and will begin competing next week for the right to be crowned National Champions!

14U Boys

The 14Us are coming off a strong season where they posted a 23-10-3 record and scored 133 goals while only surrendering 83. They will make the trip to Dallas, Texas where they will compete in a group with the Northeast Wisconsin Jr. Gamblers (4/28), Rhode Island Saints (4/29) and New Jersey Avalanche (4/30). 

15U Boys

The 15U team will also be heading to Dallas for Nationals after a strong season that finished with an overall record of 22-15-4 and a goal differential of +15. The 15U squad will face tough competition with matchups against Honeybaked (4/28), Florida Alliance (4/29) and Rhode Island Saints (4/30). 

16U Boys

The defending National Champions 16U team once again qualified for Nationals, this time in Maryland Heights, Missouri. After posting a 33-6-2 record and a stellar +90 goal differential, the team will defend their title with preliminary round games against the Anaheim Jr. Ducks (4/28), Northeast Wisconsin Jr. Gamblers (4/29) and Honeybaked (4/30). 

18U Prep

The 18U Prep team will also be competing in Maryland Heights, Missouri and their schedule for the preliminary round includes matchups with the Anaheim Jr. Ducks (4/28), Boston Jr. Eagles (4/29) and Meijer (4/30). The team finished the year with a 25-9-2 record while scoring 128 goals and only conceding 68.

16U Girls

The 16U Girls team will be traveling to West Chester, Pennsylvania to compete at Nationals after a season in which they posted a 16-19-3 record and a +29 goal differential. They will open with a game against the Florida Alliance (4/29) before wrapping up the preliminary round with matchups with the Anaheim Lady Ducks (4/30) and Detroit Little Caesars (5/1). 

14U Girls

Also making the trip to West Chester for Nationals will be the 14U Girls team who wrapped up their season with a 25-11-3 record and an outstanding +71 goal differential. Their first game will be against the Chicago Young Americans (4/29) followed by a matchup with the Washington Pride (4/30). Their final game of the opening round will be against the Minnesota Green Giants on 5/1.
