We caught up to chat about his time in the Pens Elite program and how he has adjusted to playing in the USHL.

HOW MUCH DID YOUR TIME WITH PENS ELITE HELP GET YOU TO WHERE YOU ARE TODAY?

It really helped me play at the best level possible before going juniors and it provided me with the best resources available, whether that was the on ice sessions or workout facility and even the coaches.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR ANY CURRENT PENS ELITE PLAYERS ON HOW TO REACH THEIR GOALS?

Just work hard and never cheat anything, do the little things right and work hard when no one is watching.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY DURING YOUR TIME AT PENS ELITE?

Winning the USA Hockey 16U National Championship in 2019.

HOW WAS THE ADJUSTMENT FROM 16U TO THE USHL?

It was a big step, but once I got practicing with the team I felt more comfortable and caught up with the speed of juniors.

WHO WAS YOUR FAVORITE TEAMMATE IN GREEN BAY?

Nick Zabaneh

WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY LIKE FOR YOU?

This past year I went to school from 7:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. and then practiced and worked out from 2-5 pm. We later had dinner with our billets and then did homework or hung out with our teammates.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PRE-GAME MEAL?

Spaghetti and meatballs.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE RINK TO PLAY IN THE USHL AND WHY?

The Resch center in Green Bay, it’s crazy with all the people that go to our games and cheer us on, it’s pushes you to play better.

WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE RINK TO PLAY IN THE USHL AND WHY?

Madison Capitals rink, the rink is just very cooled and small.
