Former DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Penguins Elite defenseman Tyler Love was chosen as a member of Team NAHL for the 2019 Sirius Junior Club World Cup in Russia. The tournament will take place in Sochi, Russia from August 23-31st and features junior hockey teams from all over the world. The annual tournament is sanctioned by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and this year’s edition is taking place at Shayba Arena, located at Sochi’s Olympic Park.

Team NAHL is comprised of 24 players – one from each NAHL team. Tyler Love is representing the Corpus Christi IceRays – with whom he played 58 games last season and amassed 17 points from the blue line.

It is a great honor for Tyler to be selected to represent his team in Russia! Good luck to Tyler and Team NAHL as they begin group play with a match against Oulun Karpat from Finland on August 24th.
