The Brick Invitational Hockey Tournament, held in Edmonton, Alberta, is the most prestigious event for hockey players at the 10U age level. Teams from all around North America compete in the tournament and Team Pennsylvania will once again be making an appearance at the annual summer competition. The Brick Tournament offers many young promising hockey players and parents their first opportunity to compete in an elite international environment. Not only does the tournament provide great hockey, but also a number of off-ice activities including the famous Brick Tournament Beach Party and skills competition which makes the tournament a special fun-filled hockey experience for the entire family.

Team Pennsylvania’s roster is composed of the top players from the state of Pennsylvania as well as Ohio, West Virginia and southern New Jersey. This year, six Pittsburgh Penguins Elite players make up Team PA’s roster. Defensemen Colton Goodlin, Jack Rose and Nolan Snyder as well as forwards Riley Edwards, Alex Sargo and Anthony Sargo, all from the 2009 Edwards team will be the Penguins Elite representatives when Team PA takes the ice in Edmonton.

Team Pennsylvania will play their first game of the Tournament on Monday, July 1st against Team Brick Alberta. Group play will continue with matchups against Team Minnesota, the Boston Junior Bruins, Team Manitoba and Team Quebec before wrapping up with Toronto Pro Hockey on July 5th.

Congrats to Colton, Jack, Nolan, Riley, Alex and Anthony on being named to the team and good luck in Edmonton!
