Five Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Penguins Elite Players Selected in the NCDC Entry Draft

Five players from the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite organization were selected in the 2019 National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) Entry Draft. The NCDC is a junior hockey league that falls under the United States Premier Hockey League (USPHL) umbrella.


Milan Cermak

Milan Cermak, a forward who played on the 16U Pens Elite team in 2018-19 was selected by the Northern Cyclones, a team based in Hudson, New Hampshire. In 36 games last season, Milan recorded 7 goals and 6 assists and was a +14 on the 16U squad that won the USA Hockey National Championship.


Riley Cooley

Riley Cooley, a forward who played for the 18U team in 2018-19 was selected by the Rochester Monarchs. Last season, Riley scored 10 goals and 25 assists for a total of 35 points in 36 games with the 18U team.


Alex Raketich

Alex Raketich, a defenseman who played last season with the 18U team was also selected by the Rochester Monarchs. The blueliner played in 36 games and notched 7 points during the 2018-19 season.


Jackson Krock

Jackson Krock played forward for the 18U team in 2018-19 season and was selected by the South Shore Kings, a team based in Foxboro, Massachusetts. In 2018-19, Jackson recorded 8 goals and 33 assists for a total of 41 points in 36 games.


Dawson Sciarrino

Dawson Sciarrino was also selected by the South Shore Kings in the draft. Playing for the 18U team during the 2018-19 season, Dawson tallied 15 goals and 17 assists for a total of 32 points in 35 games.
