2006 Pittsburgh Penguins Elite Head Coaches

Graham Harkins

Graham grew up playing youth hockey for the North York Rangers, Pittsburgh Hornets and Pittsburgh Jr. Penguins before playing at Gettysburg College where he served as team captain and was a 3 time All-Conference selection. Graham is entering his eighth season behind the bench in the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite organization and he has served as the head coach of the 2004 team for the past 3 seasons and was a semi-finalist at the 2019 USA Hockey National Championships. He has previously coached the 2000 and 2002 birth years and with the Pine-Richland varsity team.

Jeff Tindall

Jeff Tindall is excited to return to the organization!  Over the past three years Jeff coached the Steel City Selects Girls program to a U19 Bronze medal at Nationals, as well as winning the district title the past 2 years with the U16 team. Prior to coaching at a Steel City, Jeff coached for the Pittsburgh Selects AAA U18 Boys and Arctic Foxes organization for over 8 years. Jeff is a USA Hockey Level 3 certified official and Level 4 certified coach.

Kevin Muller

Kevin has made a name for himself by blending his passion for hockey and technology into a unique training experience.  His use of visual feedback and technical detail have made him a highly sought after skills coach across North America. Kevin has been working in private hockey training facilities and running numerous camps and clinics since 2002. In 2006 he formed online training and coaching website HockeyShare. In 2014 Kevin co-founded hockey training center LM Precision Training in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  He currently works with a number of professional, collegiate, junior, and AAA athletes.  Kevin also brings 16 years of team coaching at the bantam and midget levels as well as 3 years of hockey director experience. 

Nate Nehnevajsa

Nate grew up playing youth hockey in Pittsburgh and played for the Pine Richland Rams of the PIHL. He has spent the last 5 years as a youth hockey coach including 4 within the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite organization where he has experience with the 2003 and 2005 Black teams. Coach Nate also has experience coaching in the Lil’ 66ers Elite mite program.
