Giving back to the community is an important value to the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite organization.  All Pittsburgh Penguins Elite teams complete a service project each season and this year, the Girls 10U Black team decided to give their time to the Ronald McDonald House.  Recently, 17 members of the team gathered to pack and decorate over 70 snack bags for the families at the Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh. The Ronald McDonald house is an incredible organization that helps families stay close to their children while receiving medical care in the area.  Funding for the bags was provided by Hits from the Heart Foundation.  Hits from Heart is a non-profit that was founded by two Pittsburgh Penguins Elite siblings, Trey and Olivia Dopson, which helps critically ill children and their families.
